Interlaken

After our mountain and waterfall viewing adventure, it was time to have a mountain and lake viewing adventure. Since it was well after lunch time, we stopped at a little beach in Interlaken to eat and take some nice photos of Brienzersee (Lake of Brienz) and the surrounding mountains. As you can see, kind of ugly place for lunch, am I right? We really do not know how to find the beauty of Switzerland at all. And for those of you who do not know me, that is all sarcasm. Best lunch place ever.

 

 

 


Then we explored Interlaken, which surprisingly didn't have all that much to do. Really just a place one goes when they want to have some outdoor adventures, so the city itself is not that intriguing, at least the tiny part we went to. But then we found a green field with a gorgeous mountain backdrop. So, of course, my friend Cecilia and I frolicked in a field like a pair of loons, trying to recreate our Sound of Music fantasies. Yes, I know that takes place in Austria, but close enough. Judge us if you please. It was a magical time.
